CANDLE CARE

A Better Burn, Every Time

Simple care makes all the difference. Follow these essential candle care tips to help your candle burn cleanly, evenly and beautifully from first light to final burn.

The first burn matters!

THE FIRST BURN IS THE MOST IMPORTANT.

Allow the wax to melt evenly across the entire surface before extinguishing the flame.

This will take approximately 2 – 3 hours, depending on the candle size.

This helps establish an even burn and minimises tunnelling across the life of your candle.

From the second lighting, trim the wick before every new burn to approximately 5mm – 7mm.

This helps create a steady flame, reduces soot and allows the candle to burn more evenly.

Always place your candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from wind, drafts, curtains, pets and children.

  • Allow the wax to cool and solidify before replacing the lid or moving your candle.

  • For the cleanest finish, use a candle snuffer whenever possible.

  • During each burn, keep the wax free from wick trimmings, matches and other debris.

  • Never move a burning candle or while the wax is still liquid.

  • If the flame becomes too large, extinguish the candle. Allow it to cool, trim the wick and relight.

  • Discontinue use when 10mm of wax remains at the bottom of the vessel.
